The Underwater Trail

The underwater trail nestled in the heart of the Marine Reserve from Cerbère to Banyuls is located exactly at the edge of the Peyrefite Bay.

First, with a mask, snorkel and fin, this walk is accessible to all swimmers. It is therefore an entertaining way to discover the different environments and species present in the marine space.

You will be able to discover, the beauty of the underwater life while admiring the seabed and its ecosystem. Along the north shore of the bay, you will discover a marked course with educational signs which are fixed on five buoys.

Secondly, in summer, at the trailhead, to walk the trail in an original way, there is also the possibility of renting tubas FM which during your underwater trip will explain to you the ecosystem triggered by each terminal.

It is an entertaining way to discover the different environments and species present in the marine space.. Finally, you have the possibility to hang on to the buoys to rest.

To conclude, here is a pleasant fun walk for sea enthusiasts !

To explore this magnificent walk, meet there by car. Take the D914 from Cerbère or Banyuls-sur-Mer, along the coast. The beach is well signposted (follow the signs for "submarine trail"). Possibility to park on site !
